Formed in 2016 with an ethos of ‘Making Work Wonderful’ PLATF9RM has built up a community of over 1,000 members across the city of Brighton & Hove. A premium workspace brand with a focus on wellbeing in the workspace and balance of community, events and entertainment the PLATF9RM brand is an award winner in the Coworking community on a global basis, previously winning ‘Best Designed Workspace’ and ‘Best Community Programme’ at GCUC Global Awards. The Freedom Works Group acquired PLATF9RM in January 2025, with the aspiration to extend upon its offering in Brighton & Hove and offer businesses true choice by having two brands and solutions to choose from.

Being ‘more than a roof over your head’ is at the core of the Freedom Works and PLATF9RM workspace proposition, so alongside working with partners like Barclays Eagle Labs the group also delivers curated business support across the community and into the local regions. The business support is delivered with a focus on practical business support, delivered by local providers who have ‘been there and got the t-shirt’ and with a focus on ensuring the is a legacy rather than a cliff edge of traditional programmes.

The benefit of our business support division is that we have access to over 5,500 businesses in the South, access to space across multiple sites and locations and embedded relationships with local business networking groups, such as chambers of commerce and other members organistations.
